Super Lemon Haze Strain Introduction
Super Lemon Haze took first place in the Medical Sativa category at the 2014 Seattle Cannabis Cup. That kind of result tends to follow a strain rather than make one. A decade on it’s still a fixture on Canadian menus. The lemon is the reason why. Few sativas hold a following this long.
Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze went into the cross. Both parents are serious names, and the citrus comes straight down the Lemon Skunk line. The result lands at 80% sativa and 20% indica. That heavy sativa lean shapes everything about it.
THC sits at 22-26% THC, so the energy carries real weight behind it. Terpinolene leads the terpene profile, which is rarer than myrcene or caryophyllene. Caryophyllene and myrcene sit behind it. That terpinolene is why the citrus reads so sharp.
Effects & Qualities of Super Lemon Haze Strain
Effects
The lift arrives fast and stays bright. Energy comes first, clean and genuinely motivating. Creative thinking arrives right behind it. Focus sharpens rather than scattering, which makes this a working sativa rather than a distracting one.
Euphoria runs alongside the whole session and keeps the mood high. It stays lively and talkative from start to finish. Dry mouth and dry eyes come with the territory. Anxiousness turns up for some, so ease in if you’re prone to it.
Appearance
The buds carry a speckled green-and-brown look rather than a uniform green. A dense layer of resinous trichomes covers the surface completely. The colour underneath varies noticeably between cuts. It’s a more rustic-looking bud than most modern hybrids.
That resin layer is where the potency shows. It’s thick enough to make a grinder worth using. Kief builds up quickly, which is a dependable sign of a heavy trichome load. It’s a striking bud in person even if photos undersell it.
Aroma & Flavours
Zesty lemon leads the nose and doesn’t let go. Sharp citrus carries the top, backed by an earthy base. Spice sits at the edges and keeps it from reading as pure cleaner. It carries further than you’d expect, so store it sealed.
The flavour is the reason people buy this one. Tart and sweet at once, closest to lemon candy. Tangy citrus carries the inhale, then sweetness builds on the exhale. Very few strains land this close to actual lemonade without tasting artificial. Sharp up front, sweet at the back.

Is Super Lemon Haze Indica or Sativa?
Super Lemon Haze is a sativa-dominant hybrid, splitting roughly 80% sativa to 20% indica. That is a heavy lean and the effects show it. The energy stays sharp in the head and never really settles into the body. Treat it as a daytime strain without reservation.
What Is Super Lemon Haze Used For?
People reach for Super Lemon Haze most often for stress, depression and fatigue. Chronic pain and headaches come up regularly too. It’s a regular pick for migraines and nausea. The clean energy is a big part of why it works through a working day.
At around 26% THC, this is a potent sativa. Ease in rather than starting at a full dose, especially if strong sativas have caused trouble before.
Super Lemon Haze Strain Overview
Super Lemon Haze is a Cup winner that has held its place honestly. Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze genetics, around 26% THC, and a zesty lemon-candy flavour that almost nothing else matches. The energy is clean and the citrus is the real draw.

Opening the bag felt like peeling a fresh lemon. The citrus scent smacks you right away
Cedrick –
Taste is sharp and tangy, almost like lemon candy with a little earthy bite at the end.
13Ross –
Packed a bowl before hitting the skate park the sunshine and citrus combo just made sense.
EJ02 –
The buds sparkle with crystals and have these fiery orange hairs running through. Gorgeous stuff.
Zaren –
I brewed some iced tea and paired it with this strain. Citrus overload in the best way.
Cedric –
Back in the days this was my favourite. Put a deal on this 5-stars baby.
Creampuffs –
Passed it around on a group picnic and we rated every sandwich a “Chef’s Kiss” out of ten. The lemon zing paired perfectly with sunshine and loud snack reviews.
Mi.ona –
Apparently, I now have opinions about which fruit has the best strut (spoiler: it’s lemons).

Yellow shades took over my whole sketchbook, and the cat tried to “help” with her tail bonus details added.

The giggles didn’t quit and someone started keeping a trophy tally for “Most Ridiculous Answer.”
kene_ki –
Movie night with Super Lemon Haze as a co star ended up critiquing every special effect like I was up for an Oscar. Even popcorn tasted a little zesty.
Zii-arb –
Popped some before my weekly meal prep. My kitchen playlist got extra bouncy and I started singing ingredient names to the tune of pop hits. Broccoli never sounded so catchy.

Took Super Lemon Haze on a morning walk.

Cracked open the bag and the lemony aroma had me grinning took a couple hits and suddenly my apartment became a dance floor. Sunlight through the window? Instant disco.

My fave sativa ! Makes me very productive and energetic. Sometime sativa makes me overthing or stressed but not this strain 😁
poutine –

James7453 –

Great strain
Brick –
Very tasty strain ! Smeels of lemon
Kaneh Bosm –
Very fruity flavour. Has the grassy haze taste you would expect. This batch was mid potency. Some of the more air buds weren’t very potent, but the more dense nugs made for a nice smoke!
Sabatonkush –
Defiantly worth trying smells great buds looked amazing high was good but didn’t last as long as super silver haze this is a really good strain also
Dirty Lettuce 420 –
This is hands down the best Super Lemon Haze I have ever had! Unreal high and it smells amazing! Would definitely recommend
Deleon –
A little pricey for what I am used to BUT This stuff Smells, and tastes amazing, big buds and I would definitely order this again! Picked me up and made me want to go for a hike rather then sit on the couch!
Thunderhawk1921 –
The aroma of this strain alone is good enough for me. Dangle it under my nose all day!
Wizard –
The aroma and flavour are out of this world; I have had SLH a few times over the years and, without a doubt, this is one of the best I have ever had. The lemon scent, the peppery after-flavour, and the high that hits you like a dump truck of genuinely bubbly energy; all exactly what I was looking for and more. Definitely a re-order, and most definitely a worthy addition to the Collection.

Well grown slightly loose bud, affect was ok. Problem: bud was very fresh and a wee bit damp which at times made it hard to keep lit. Because it was so fresh it led me to wonder how the heck it could have been cured properly. Also would like to know if these flowers are flushed before harvesting. Although the bud was well grown, attention to final stages is paramount in my 40 + years of growing and smoking experience.
Will not buy this bud again.
Thunderhawk1921 –
Pungent lemon aroma upon opening the vacuum sealed bag. The smell was spot on with another SLH picked up from a Toronto dispensary.
I love the way this bud smokes and has a moderate to high effect. This stuff hit me right behind the eyes after consuming a bigger amount.
Would order again!

Unfortunately this dna does not carry the smell/taste that has made this strain one of the most popular in the world. I agree that this is slh, it’s not the best it can be. This grower needs to start again because it is very worth it in the long run when you mother the best smelling weed in the world. No disrespect.
Although good, I will not be ordering this again from cnabsmo
Ccurrie77 –
I’m definitely ordering this stuff again! Great smell and great taste!
Plottwistt –

PapaD –

package fantastically,
smells great, has a peppery finish to the flavor.
would recommend!
Luv420Girl –
Excellent strain! The aroma and the taste is exactly what I like. You can feel yourself getting higher by each toke. However, so far I have found 2 seeds and quite a few empty pockets
Rascurt Industries –
I absolutely loved this strain. The buds were big and super dense and full of trichomes! I will get this again!! I only wish THC %’s were listed on the products.
rello88 –
This stuff tasted great, had a lemony scent, but the strength of this smoke is what stood out! Great strain!!!
RandyRandleman –
Amazing strain Super Lemon is in my top 5 sativa strains. If you haven’t tried this strain & you enjoy Moby Dick, Island Sweet Skunk or super silver haze you owe it to yourself to give the super lemon haze a try.
youngnproud –
One of my favorite strain! Will definitely order more when restocked!
anothermanoutoftime –
Fantastic smelling and tasting, that lemon flavour is amazing.
However, I’m an anxiety person, and this is maybe the buzziest sativa ever. That warning in the description is no joke- this made me freak the hell out, and I think I’ll be keeping my distance. Too bad, because I love me a good sativa, and it was so damn tasty! 🙁
daren –
Great value especially for first time buyers. Bud was fairly potent, amazing smell and taste, very smooth. Defiantly was very happy with the purchase and quick service no complaints.
esf1 –
Pretty nice sativa, good potency. I gave it a top rating anyways, but there is a bit of that eucalyptol terpene, but not heavy tasting in the smoke. I found it in the same ballpark as the last batch of LSD that was in @ Cbismo. If you want to save money and avoid any eucalyptol go for the lemon skunk. It isn’t as potent as this but it’s still top notch smooth lemony smoke.
MadDoctah –
This is now officially my favorite strain from CB. Never smelled anything or tasted anything quite like it. The buds look the same as the photo, lots of orange and you can actually smell and taste the lemon skunkiness. A little pricier than some others but definitely worth the price. The high for me I found quite strong but still felt like I was able to function if needed to. I highly recommend trying this stuff.
